Clarifying the message on the website

The main objective of the website redesign project was to clarify the message and content structure of the Hoivarakentajat website. Other objectives included improving the site load speed, responsiveness, accessibility and search engine optimization.

The website project was kicked off in April 2023 with the aim of launching the new site in two months, in the first half of June before the holiday season.

The website project was successful thanks to smooth cooperation

From the beginning to the end of the project communication with both Mikko and the rest of the Hoivarakentajat team was really smooth and our cooperation worked well. Hoivarakentajat gave us a fairly free hand in the implementation, which allowed us to bring out our expertise to the best advantage.

If we look at the end result, that we have managed to get significantly higher engagement on our site and more relevant visitors compared to the previous larger mass, then yes, we have done really well, both in terms of the migration and the content.

When designing the content structure and user experience of the website, we paid particular attention to key target groups and search engine optimization. The new site structure, the redesigned look and the feel of the streamlined navigation helped us to make the website more customer-focused and better serve client's business objectives.

We used Figma design system to design the website and built the site using our own HubSpot website theme that we published in spring 2023.

The website project was a pleasant experience for Hoivarakentajat

A website project always includes not only structural design, visual design, technical design and implementation, but also content production, content input and content optimization. Other almost mandatory steps include migrating blogs to the new template and designing and implementing redirects to avoid 404 error pages on the new site. In addition, the site needs to be thoroughly tested before launch.

The close and smooth cooperation with Hoivarakentajat enabled the project to progress forward within a tight schedule. The pressure of the project schedule was not felt on the client's end, as we had planned and resourced each stage of the project carefully. Everything went according to plan and the new website was launched on the scheduled date.

This was a hugely rewarding project for us. You did a great job of claiming your place in it and making the project easy for us. We were always able to come to the set table. The proposals were well thought out and ready to go. There were also reasons why a change was worth making in relation to the previous implementation. The project was really smooth.

Website migration from WordPress to HubSpot did not cause any problems

Many customers are suspicious about moving their website to a new platform, but the change of platform is not visible to the website visitor at all. However, the content management system (CMS) and the page editing tool do show a positive change.

Even though HubSpot is a completely new platform for me, I did not notice any problems during the process.

The website is being further developed by using Growth Driven Design method

The new website is constantly being developed further based on visitor data and changing business objectives. Using the Growth Driven Design method, new content and functionalities are being added to the site, and new areas for improvement are being identified at a steady pace. This keeps the site fresh for longer by not letting it sit idle immediately after launch.

Cooperating in this GDD method works just as smooth as during the redesign project phase. Data measurement is at the heart of development, and we look at visitor behaviour and engagement. In this joint partnership we are constantly getting suggestions from you on how the content should be improved and observations on how relevant visitors engage with each piece of content. That's how we develop the content further in sprints. It's a very easy and enjoyable way for us to work.
